Peter H. Edwards, Jr, M.D.
Dr. Peter H. Edwards, Jr., of Ohio Riverside Sports Medicine at the Ohio Orthopedic Center of Excellence, is a specialist in sports medicine. His practice has an emphasis on arthroscopic surgery of the knee and ankle of all ages as well as a specialized focus on soccer sports medicine.
As a team physician for the Columbus Crew, U.S. Men's and Women's Soccer teams, Rahal Letterman Racing, and other local sports teams, Dr. Edwards is a well-known figure on the sidelines at games.
“It has been rewarding to help professional athletes recover from injuries and return to the field,” says Dr. Edwards. “Our experience with the Crew also helps us stay on top of treatment options for all the other student and adult athletes we see.”
Committed to giving back, Dr. Edwards remains active in ongoing musculoskeletal research as well as directing a sports fellowship program.
Dr. Edwards is married and has four children.
