William R Miely, M.D.

Dr. William Miely, of the Ohio Spine Institute at the Ohio Orthopedic Center of Excellence, is a spine surgeon and specializes in surgery for the treatment of degenerative disease and spinal disorders, and is one of the region’s most respected spine surgery specialists.

“No one wants to have back surgery, and in most cases of back pain it isn’t necessary,” says Dr. Miely. “However, when surgery is necessary, it’s important to have the care of a physician who understands the complex structure of bones, discs, muscles and nerves that make up the human spine.”

Dr. Miely completed a fellowship in spine medicine and is board certified.
