Ephraim K. Brenman, D.O.
Dr. Ephraim Brenman, of the Ohio Spine Institute at the Ohio Orthopedic Center of Excellence, specializes in non-surgical spine care options including rehabilitation and pain management. Prior to joining the Ohio Spine Institute, Dr. Brenman practiced at The Spine and Rehabilitation Center in Austin, Texas. He has experience performing electromyography/nerve conduction; botulinum toxin injections; manipulation techniques of cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine; spinal injections and peripheral joint injections to alleviate patients’ spinal pain.
Dr. Brenman has conducted extensive research on pain management and, in particular, on the effects that stress and depression have on chronic pain. He has lectured on spine, sports medicine and other orthopedic care issues throughout the country.
"As a physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist, it is my job and hope to increase the patient's function," says Dr. Brenman. "The Center has various treatment options to achieve this goal."
Dr. Brenman enjoys playing soccer and rugby. He and his wife, Wendy, have two children, Emily and Noah.
